Brenton on Sea main beach is 5km long and stretches all the way from Brenton on Sea to Buffalo Bay.
It’s a beautiful white sandy beach with the ocean on the one side and fynbos covered dunes on the other.
It’s safe to swim in certain areas but be careful of rip currents.
Castle Rock is a well known fishing spot, but many catch cob along the shore.
Jaap se baai is a small little beach cove, with a stair case leading down to the bottom.
Here you can enjoy fresh wild oysters on the rocks, if you’re lucky.
There’s also a small interesting cave.
